Welcome to NWOCSC.com
Welcome to the web site for the Northwest Ohio Charter School Coalition
(NWOSCS). The NWOCSC was founded in 2009 by a group of Toledo-area
charter schools who wanted to fight Ohio Governor Ted Strickland's plan
to cut charter school funding by 20 percent as part of his education
reform plan. While still in the development stages, the NWOCSC will
work to address issues facing charter and community schools. Those
issues include, but are not limited to, political / zoning
requirements, health care costs, purchasing, fund-raising, marketing,
and public relations. The NWOCSC will also work to showcase the
talents displayed by the sudents we educate throughout the school
year. Our web site is currently under construction. Check back soon
